Our Partners

We couldn't have made any progress with Granada Estates without our many partners

First there are the many volunteers at Faith Bible Church that are willing to give time and donated items to the people of Granada Estates.

We have outside groups that join us for some of our events. They work alongside the people of Faith Bible Church to be able to give back to the community.

We have had a lot of high school groups and even kids from one of the local reservation helping.

The City of Glendale supports us by helping us to identify those that need our assistance during our workdays. The city also identifies other partners to help us to accomplish what we need to do for revitalization.

The police have volunteered their time to come out during our events, to keep us safe, as well as to be a presence in the neighborhood. Since we have started working there, crime has decreased and the reporting of crime has increased. This is what we want to see, which empowers the people of Granada Estates to keep themselves safe. They have also helped us develop the neighborhood watch.

We are also so happy to be able to work with the schools. They provide us a place to meet but also they help us identify kids that really need us to come along side of them. We have been able to benefit them by painting the halls of the high school and painting play equipment at one of the elementary schools. We worked with the maintenance crew to do it to their specifications. We have done school supply drives and food drives for them as well.

Other partners we have worked with are Blueprint Education which helps people get their high school diploma. One of our Granada Estates residents went back to school to get his GED as an adult but they also help at risk kids.

Midwestern has offered free dental screenings to the residents of Granada Estates. This was a big hit and made people aware of the options that the college has for health care.

Neighborhood transformation has been a huge partner as well. They have given us the opportunities to have interns, they have helped with awareness of the Granada Estates neighborhood and have helped shape our direction and work in the neighborhood.

Without any one of these partners, we wouldn't have seen any success in the neighborhood. Our friends in Granada Estates have hope for change because we are all working together. We are very thankful for you all.
