Volunteers

We are so thankful for our many volunteers. I like being able to provide a variety of volunteer opportunities for every level of ability and expertise.

They are faithful and do a great job. Homeowners are always pleased at the quality of work that these volunteers do. We couldn't do what we do without them.

One opportunity is for volunteers to help with registration. This is for those who have limited ability but still want to help.

They also wrote cards of encouragement to our friends in Granada Estates. Some are still writing to them.

Out in the field we can use all ages. From picking up trash to yard work and painting, there is something for everyone to do.

Even those with limited abilities have been able to help in various ways.

Some have helped by being house leaders where they direct the work happening at that site as well as developing the relationships with the home owners.

Multi-generations have the opportunity to work together and learn from each other. An organic mentorship happens that is priceless.

We are so thankful for the cooperation of the volunteer police officers. They are a great asset to us and they get to have some face time with residents as well, promoting good will.

Thank you to all those who have made a difference in this neighborhood though your volunteer hours.
